Astrazeneca And The Open University Join The Genie Programme

Amazing Apprenticeships have announced the next two big names to join Coca-Cola and Premier Foods on the Genie Programme.

Tracey Hoey, UK Apprenticeship Programme Partner for AstraZeneca and Kate Hardie, Senior Talent Advisor for The Open University are the latest names to commit to lead their organisations in addressing social mobility issues.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Tracey and Kate to The Genie Programme”, said Genie Lead Tom Pritchard. “They each bring a genuine desire to make changes in their individual organisations. AstraZeneca is keen to explore access to opportunity and the local challenges their offices face when recruiting while The Open University want to look across the organisation at apprenticeships and early career opportunities.”

The first cohort of The Genie Programme, beginning May 2021, will see 12 individuals from across the UK come together to explore and educate themselves on the issues of social disadvantage, low social mobility and low access to opportunity.
